NWGA's 2010 Legislative & Political Update is scheduled for Thursday October 21st, 2010. We are excited to announce that will be partnering with the Portland State University Food Industry Leadership Center’s Executive Conference at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront. By combining our two industry events, considerable value will be added for all attendees. NWGA will not be charging a registration fee this year for the Legislative & Political Update, and attendance is welcome for anyone in the food industry who is interested in attending. The Marriott guest room rate is $149 and I will let you know as soon as the Market Code for booking rooms at this rate becomes available.
You and your colleagues will learning more about industry issues in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. This event is your opportunity to hear a detailed description of what has happened, and what is expected to be on our plate in the Washington, Oregon and Idaho Legislatures. You will hear the latest status of key issues and initiatives.
